Biography

I am an undergraduate Physics student at Bilkent University. My academic interests include theoretical physics, computational physics, quantum optics, spectroscopy, and scientific computing. I enjoy combining theoretical understanding, laboratory work, numerical analysis, and programming to study physical systems.

Quantum Teleportation State Explorer

A computational quantum optics project for studying continuous-variable quantum teleportation, Wigner-function diagnostics, noisy Gaussian teleportation channels, and constrained optimization of quantum states in a truncated Fock basis.

Observation of Black-body Radiation and Flame Emission Spectra of Alkali Metals by Using Visible Light Spectroscopy

A homemade spectrometer has built having ±5 nm precision.

Vibration Analysis of a Loudspeaker via Michelson Interferometer

This project received the Best Project Award.

Tetrahedron Electrostatics

A computational physics project solving Laplace’s equation inside a tetrahedron with constant electric potentials on its boundary surfaces.

Peer Tutor, PHYS101 — General Physics I

Provided approximately 20 hours of peer tutoring for undergraduate students in PHYS101 and completed certified Peer Tutor Training covering effective teaching strategies and student-centered learning.

Experience

Research Intern at Institut für Theoretische Physik, Universität Innsbruck, Innsbruck, Austria — Summer 2026

Conducted research in the Cavity Quantum Electrodynamics (CQED) group under Prof. Helmut Ritsch, Dr. Farokh Mivehvar, and Dr. Natalia Masalaeva.

Studied the steady-state dynamics of a particle coupled to an optical cavity under an artificial gauge field.
